Overview
This 1,200 sq. ft. lab is research based for work within robotics, table-top robotics, machine vision, gesture-based controls, embedded sensors, RFID. This lab is equipped with fume exhaust capabilities for future flexibility. Current research and teaching activities include autonomous, unmanned, medical robots, touchless navigation MRI systems (Gesture Clean), and robotic assists that understands gestures (Gestonurse). Additionally, it is home to work involving accessibility and assistive technologies, telemonitoring using augmented reality, and bomb dismantling through tactile exploration.
